Abstract
Spark plug for igniting a combustible gaseous fuel mixture in an internal combustion engine, comprising an ignition area, wherein the spark plug is configured to deliver an ignition energy in the ignition area, wherein at least one supply channel (3) for conveying fuel and/or air is provided, the at least one supply channel (3) having an exit opening (4) at the ignition area and an entrance opening (5) positioned distanced from the ignition area.
