Abstract

A reciprocating compressor provided with a damper (160) is disclosed. The compressor includes a cylinder cover (150) coupled to one side of the cylinder block (131). The compressor further includes a damper (160). The damper (160) is coupled to a mounting portion (155) that protrudes laterally from both sides of the cylinder cover (150). The damper (160) may be directly assembled to a detachable cylinder cover (150) such that the damper (160) can be disposed only in a portion where the damper (160) function is required. Through this, the material requirements of the damper (160) may be reduced, and assembly and productivity may be improved.
