Abstract

A combustor (28) and an insert (58) for providing cooling fluid along a wall (38, 40) of the combustor (28) includes a body (64), a passage (48), and an outlet (66). The body (64) extends from a proximal end (64A) to a distal end (64B) that protrudes from the wall (38, 40). The passage (48) extends at least partially through the body (64) towards the distal end (64B). The outlet (66) extends through the body (64) at the distal end (64B) to fluidly connect the passage (48). The passage (48) and the outlet (66) form a fluid path through the insert (58) and the wall (38, 40).
