Abstract

A v-band ring (44) and a combustor (28) incorporating the same includes a monolithic body (50) extending circumferentially entirely about an axis (C) and extending axially parallel to the axis (C) from ends of the v-band ring (44). The monolithic body (50) includes an inner surface (54) that faces inward towards the axis (C) and extends between ends (58,60) of the v-band ring (44). The inner surface (54) includes a convergent frustoconical segment (62), a convex segment (64), and a divergent frustoconical segment (66) that form a V-shaped cross-section of the monolithic body (50) with a rounded vertex.
