Abstract
According to an embodiment disclosed in this document, there is provided a battery management device including an interface configured to acquire a voltage profile representing a voltage relative to a capacity of a battery cell and at least one processor, in which the at least one processor is configured to identify at least one inflection point based on the voltage profile, identify a capacity of silicon contained in the battery cell using the at least one inflection point, and control charging or discharging of the battery cell based on the capacity of silicon.
