Abstract
The present invention relates to a management device for detecting poor busbar connection and defective inter-cell welding of a battery pack using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technology. The device of the present invention includes a measurement current generation unit that applies a set AC to a battery pack, a voltage measurement unit that measures a voltage generated across both ends of each battery cell or a busbar by the current, an impedance calculation unit that calculates an impedance using the measured current and voltage values, and a data output unit that generates a Nyquist or Bode plot based on the calculated impedance and outputs an impedance change.
