Abstract

A fixing device (13) includes: a heat roller (31); a heating device (52) disposed inside the heat roller (31) to heat the heat roller (31); a pressure roller (32) opposed to the heat roller (31) and forming, together with the heat roller (31), a nip (N) where a recording medium (P) to be subjected to fixing processing is to be passed through; a conveyance guide (61) that guides the recording medium (P) to the nip (N) and is provided with a gap (G) from the pressure roller (32) in a direction in which the conveyance guide (61) guides the recording medium (P), and an air blower (71) disposed in a region located on the pressure roller (32) side of the conveyance guide (61) in a direction of alignment of the heat roller 4520251207 (31) and the pressure roller (32) to blow air toward the heat roller (31) through the gap (G).
