Abstract

An electrode for a secondary battery, a method of fabricating the same, and a secondary battery including the same are provided. The electrode for a secondary battery includes a current collector, an active material layer disposed on the current collector. The active material layer includes an active material, and a protective coating formed on at least a portion of a surface of the active material or at least a portion of a surface of the active material layer and including an aryl-ring-containing metal compound.
