Abstract
Disclosed are a pouch-shaped secondary battery degassing apparatus for removing gas from a pouch-shaped secondary battery including a first pocket portion configured to receive an electrode assembly and a second pocket portion configured to capture gas, the pouch-shaped secondary battery degassing apparatus including a first jig unit located at one surface of the second pocket portion, the first jig unit being configured to take in gas captured in the second pocket portion, and a second jig unit located at the other surface of the second pocket portion, the second jig unit being configured to take in the gas captured in the second pocket portion, wherein the first jig unit includes a first support plate, a first intake portion, and a first suction portion, and the first support plate is formed such that a region thereof where the first intake portion is located protrudes farther toward the one surface of the second pocket portion than a region thereof where the first suction portion is located, and a pouch-shaped secondary battery degassing method using the same.
