Abstract

The present application provides a cover plate assembly and a battery. The cover plate assembly includes a cover body, an insulating support part, and a supporting member. The cover body is provided with an explosion-proof valve. The insulating support part is arranged opposite to the cover body and is in contact with the cover body, and the insulating support part is provided with an air-exhausting port corresponding to the explosion-proof valve. The supporting member is installed on the insulating support part, and the supporting member is located between the cover body and a core package. A melting temperature of the supporting member is higher than a melting temperature of the insulating support part.
