Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a separator, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electrode assembly including the same. The separator according to one aspect comprises: a substrate; and a coating layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the coating layer comprises an inorganic material and a first binder, a glass transition temperature of the first binder is 100 °C or less, and the following Equation 1 can be satisfied: 1.2≤DB1/TC≤2.0In Equation 1, D<sub>B1</sub> is a particle diameter (D50) at a volume fraction of 50% in a cumulative particle size distribution of the first binder, and T<sub>c</sub> is a thickness of the coating layer.
