Abstract

An object of the present invention is to appropriately set a margin of power demand prediction used when calculating transmitted power in a power interchange system that transmits power generated in a power generation base to a demand base by a power transmission network. When a difference between demand prediction and actual demand does not fall within a range of allowable difference, the power interchange system according to the present invention determines a correction value for the demand prediction in accordance with the absolute value of the difference, and applies the determined correction value to the demand prediction (refer to Fig. 13).
