Abstract
A rotary electric machine driving device (1) includes: a plurality of groups of power converters (3) and (4) provided corresponding to respective groups, to convert DC power input from a DC power supply (7) into a phase current, and output the phase current to the stator windings of the respective groups; and a control unit (5) to output a control signal generated on the basis of a carrier wave to control the power converters (3) and (4) of the respective groups, and switch a phase of the carrier wave in each of the groups when a temperature of a part of a rotary electric machine (2) is higher than a threshold temperature.
