Abstract

A communication system includes a domain controller 10 connected to a bus 10a in a global area 100 and a bus 10b in a local area 201, an ECU (for example, a domain controller 20) that belongs to the global area 100, and an ECU (for example, ECUs 11, 12) that belongs to the local area 201. A data frame 31 includes a CAN ID (ID: 100) and a control information (control information subject to processing by, for example, the domain controller 20), a data frame 32 includes a CAN ID (ID: 100) and a control information (control information subject to processing by the ECU 11), and the CAN ID of the data frame 31 and the CAN ID of the data frame 32 are the same ID.
