Abstract

A method for routing data within a global communication mesh, wherein data volumes transmitted during a time interval by a local communication network connected to a local point of presence, POP, of a global communication mesh are routed from the local POP along a plurality of paths within the global communication mesh to a plurality of remote POPs by a router of the local POP, the global communication mesh comprising a plurality of POPs including the local POP and the remote POPs and a plurality of links respectively linking exactly two POPs; a computing system for a local communication network and a computer program product.
