Abstract

An information processing system includes: a first acquisition unit that acquires first echo information indicating an echo reverberating in a first ear of a target; a second acquisition unit that acquires second echo information indicating an echo reverberating in a second ear of the target; a storage unit that stores registered echo information, which indicates an echo and which is registered in advance; and an information output unit that outputs information about at least one of a relationship between the first ear and the first acquisition unit and a relationship between the second ear and the second acquisition unit, based on the registered echo information and at least one of the first echo information and the second echo information. According to such an information processing system, it is possible to prevent inconveniences regarding wearing from occurring in a terminal worn in the ear.
