Abstract

A method and apparatus for wireless communication, a device, and a storage medium are provided, relating to the field of communication technology. The method includes the following. A first timer is started and/or first prompt information is sent based on a first event, where the first event is related to communication quality of the terminal device (710). The terminal device determines, based on the event related to the communication quality of the terminal device, whether to start the first timer and/or send the first prompt information. In the case where the communication quality of the terminal device is relatively poor or communication interruption occurs, the terminal device can alert a user to improve the communication quality of the terminal device via the first prompt information within a valid duration of the first timer, which improves the robustness of signal transmission, thereby improving the communication quality of wireless signals and enabling rapid recovery of wireless communication.
