Abstract

A plant (1) and a method for the continuous disinfestation of cereal and vegetable seeds from nematodes and/or cryptobiosis nematodes comprising:- a first chamber (104), which is a closed washing chamber comprising heat-insulating walls (109), a treatment tank (113), a basket with auger (112) without central shaft, a tank (107) for collecting spent hot water;- a second chamber (105), which is a drainage chamber comprising heat-insulating walls (109), a collection tank (107) and a filtered cold air aeration system (111);- a third chamber (106) with heat-insulating walls (109), which is a drying chamber comprising a basket with auger (112) without central shaft.
