Abstract

A cutting assembly (1, 1', 1", 2, 10) is disclosed configured to be mounted to a lawnmower (3) to cut vegetation. The cutting assembly (1, 1', 1", 2, 10) comprises a mounting unit (4) configured to be mounted to a lawnmower body (3') of the lawnmower (3) and a cutting arrangement (5) comprising a cutting unit (6) and three or more ground engaging members (7, 7', 7", 7"') each configured to abut against a ground surface (Gs) in a ground engaging plane (Gp) to maintain a distance (d1) between the cutting unit (6) and the ground surface (Gs) during operation of the cutting assembly (1, 1', 1", 2, 10). The cutting assembly (1, 1', 1", 2, 10) further comprises a connection arrangement (8) comprising a pivot mechanism (9) pivotally attaching the cutting arrangement (5) to the mounting unit (4) around multiple axes (ax1, ax2) each being transversal to a normal (N) of the ground engaging plane (Gp). The present disclosure further relates to a pair of cutting assemblies (10, 10') and a lawnmower (3) comprising one or more cutting assemblies (1, 1', 1", 2, 10, 10').
