Abstract
A fluid sprayer includes a chassis that supports a piston pump. An electric motor is disposed in the fluid sprayer and provides rotational motion to a drive that converts the rotational motion to linear reciprocating motion provided to the piston pump. A cover at least partially covers a portion of the drive. The cover includes a side extension on a lateral side of the cover that projects further rearward that the other lateral side of the cover.
