Abstract
A droplet ejection apparatus (1) that ejects a droplet from a droplet ejection head (111), the apparatus including: a suction cap (31) for covering an ejection surface of the droplet ejection head; a suction pump (33) that suctions liquid from the droplet ejection head in a state where the suction cap covers the ejection surface; a suction tube (32) provided between the suction cap and the suction pump; and a suppressing section that suppresses clogging of the suction tube with liquid.
