Abstract
A vehicle control device of the disclosure is a vehicle control device (10) including a plant model (M1, M2) including a driving side inertia moment (J<sub>SM</sub>, J<sub>DM</sub>) and a load side inertia moment (J<sub>SL</sub>, J<sub>DL</sub>) calculated based on an inertia moment (J<sub>M</sub>) of a drive source of a vehicle (1), the vehicle control device (10) including a calculation unit (11) and a control unit (12). The calculation unit (11) calculates an estimated wheel speed (ω<sub>LE</sub>, ω<sub>RE</sub>) based on the plant model (M1, M2) and a drive source angular velocity (ω<sub>LM</sub>, ω<sub>RM</sub>). The control unit (12) performs driving force control of the vehicle (1), using the estimated wheel speed (ω<sub>LE</sub>, ω<sub>RE</sub>).
