Abstract

A bicycle includes a front wheel (18), a rear wheel (22), and a frame (14) coupled to and supported by the front wheel and the rear wheel, the frame having a frame member with a cavity defined therein (96). The bicycle also includes a battery (90) disposed within the cavity, and an adapter (508) that is removably coupled to the battery and removably coupled to the frame member. The adapter includes a storage compartment (516) that is at least partially defined by the frame member.
