Abstract
An object is to provide a calcium aluminosilicate-based compound that, when added to cement or the like, has high compressive strength and is capable of imparting good surface finish properties. The calcium aluminosilicate-based compound contains, as chemical components, 30 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less of CaO, 10 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less of Al<2>O<3>, 1 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less of SiO<2>, 10 ppm or more and 50,000 ppm or less of P<2>O<5> in terms of mass ratio, and 0.1 mass% or more and 1 mass% or less of MgO.
