Abstract

The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for separating and purifying extracellular vesicles with a high recovery rate and a low cost. The present invention relates to a method for producing extracellular vesicles, the method comprising Step (a) of preparing a biological sample comprising the extracellular vesicle, Step (b) of adjusting an electrical conductivity of the biological sample to 4 mS/cm or more and 15 mS/cm or less, Step (c) of contacting the biological sample with a positively charged support, and Step (d) of collecting the extracellular vesicle by contacting the support with a buffer solution comprising a metal salt.
