Abstract
The object of the invention is a nanocrystalline material from the double perovskite family of the general formula Ba<X>Sr<1-X>LaLiWO <6>, wherein X is 0 to 1, crystallizing in the cubic crystal system in space group Fm3m and point symmetry O5<h> having a nanocrystallite size not exceeding 40 nm. A further object of the invention is a method for preparing the nanocrystalline material from the double perovskite family. A further object of the invention is the use of the nanocrystalline material for the production of optical materials.
