Abstract
Provided is a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of performing a co-combustion operation using both a liquid fuel and a gaseous fuel as the fuels to be used. The internal combustion engine includes: a cylinder having a combustion chamber for burning the fuels to be used; an injector for injecting the liquid fuel into the combustion chamber; a liquid fuel introduction line for guiding the liquid fuel to the injector; and a gaseous fuel introduction line for guiding the gaseous fuel to the combustion chamber. The control device of the internal combustion engine includes a recovery measure execution part configured to perform a recovery measure for recovering an actual injection amount of the liquid fuel injected from the injector when a reduction amount of output of the internal combustion engine, or the discrepancy between the actual injection amount of the liquid fuel from the injector and an instructed injection amount, exceeds a predetermined threshold in a state in which the internal combustion engine is operated by the co-combustion operation.
