Abstract
A turbine engine (10) comprising: a compressor section (12), a combustion section (14), and a turbine section (16) in serial flow arrangement, with the combustion section (14) comprising a combustion chamber (50) and a fuel nozzle assembly (48) fluidly coupled with the combustion chamber (50) at a fuel nozzle assembly outlet (74), wherein the fuel nozzle assembly (48) comprises a gaseous fuel passage (122, 222) defined by an inner surface (116, 216) of a centerbody (112, 212), a plurality of annularly shaped air supply passages (134, 136, 234, 235, 237) circumscribing the centerbody (112, 212) including at least a first air supply passage (134, 234) and a second air supply passage (136, 235) circumscribing the first air supply passage (134, 234), at least one splitter (126, 226, 227) having an annular shape circumscribing the centerbody (112, 212) and separating adjacent air supply passages of the plurality of air supply passages (134, 136, 234, 235, 237), a fuel nozzle body (102, 202) circumscribing the plurality of air supply passages (134, 136, 234, 235, 237) and the at least one splitter (126, 226, 227) and at least one orifice plate (140, 241, 243) disposed within one of the plurality of the air supply passages (134, 136, 234, 235, 237).
