Abstract

A method of installing underfloor heating and/or cooling, comprising determining heating and/or cooling requirements for one or more rooms (R1, R2); determining a room specific conduit layout for meeting the heating and/or cooling requirements of each room (R1, R2). For each room specific conduit layout, providing one or more prefabricated conduit mats (1) for arrangement on a floor surface (F1, F2) of the one or more rooms (R1, R2), wherein each prefabricated conduit mat (1) comprises an inlet and outlet end (3, 4) extending beyond the prefabricated conduit mat (1) over a first and second extension length (E1, E2) respectively; and based on the room specific conduit layout, arranging the prefabricated conduit mats (1) on the floor surface (F1, F2), and routing the inlet and outlet end (3, 4) of each prefabricated conduit mat (1) along the floor surface (F1, F2).
