Abstract

A refrigeration apparatus (90) includes a housing (105; 205), a refrigerant circuit (60), a power source unit (45; 46), a ground line (51; 95), and a grounding resistor (55; 94). The refrigerant circuit (60) circulates a refrigerant (65) that possibly undergoes a disproportionation reaction. The power source unit (45; 46) receives electrical power from a commercial power source (47). The ground line (51; 95) electrically connects the housing (105; 205) to an external ground (G). The grounding resistor (55; 94) is electrically connected to the ground line (51; 95), and has a resistance equal to or more than 0.1 Ω.
