Abstract

A computer system (100; 400) for providing vehicle route recommendations, the system (100; 400) comprising processing circuitry (102; 402) configured to: receive a destination input request (10) indicating a desired destination (8) for the vehicle (1); determine route suggestions (20) from a current location (6) to the desired destination (8); employ a machine learning model (30) to perform an assessment for each route suggestion (20), each assessment comprising a separation of data into a plurality of transformation process modules (31, 33, 35); and provide route recommendations (40) based on outputs from the machine learning model (30), each route recommendation (40) comprising a cruise controller setting (42) and its expected influence on travelling time of the vehicle (1) in relation to its fuel consumption from the current location (6) to the desired destination (8).
