Abstract

Some embodiments in the present disclosure relate to a wireless communication system for joint localization and authentication. In particular, the system comprises a plurality of base stations configured to perform channel state estimation of a communication channel for wireless communication with a communication apparatus. The system further comprises a processing apparatus configured to generate an input instance using a result of the channel state estimation; and determine a position and an authentication state of each of the at least one communication apparatus using a machine learning model and the generated input instance, the machine learning model being trained to output a position and an authentication state using an input instance generated using a result of channel state estimation.
