Abstract

A printing method based on consumable management, a printing system, and a printing device are provided. The method is applied to the printing device including an image sensor and/or a near-field sensing component, and includes: receiving a print job; performing first identification on an image label of a consumable container by using the image sensor, to obtain first consumable identity information corresponding to the image label, and/or performing second identification on a near-field sensing tag of the consumable container by using the near-field sensing component, to obtain second consumable identity information corresponding to the near-field sensing tag; performing consumable verification based on the first consumable identity information and/or the second consumable identity information; and performing, by the printing device, the print job in response to a verification result being compatible with the print job.
