Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide an information display method and an electronic device, and relate to the field of interaction technologies, to resolve a problem that operability of an interface element in a status bar is poor. A specific solution includes: displaying a first interface, where a status bar is displayed on the first interface, and a through hole is located in a display region of the status bar; displaying a first control on the status bar, where a display region of the first control surrounds the through hole, and the first control is used to push first information; canceling display of the first control in response to a first operation of a user; and redisplaying the first control on the status bar after a second operation performed by the user on the status bar is detected.
