Abstract

An information processing apparatus (100, Figure 2) includes an image acquisition unit (140, Figure 3) configured to acquire an image (510, 520, 530) acquired by imaging a subject, a detection unit (150, Figure 3) configured to detect a subject region (501) from the image, the subject region being a region of the subject being a tracking target, and a setting unit (170, Figure 3) configured to set the subject region of the subject being the tracking target based on a likelihood of the subject in a case where at least a portion of the subject is occluded by an obstruction (540) in the image and the plurality of subject regions (501, 502) of the subject is detected by the detection unit.
