A method (100) comprising steps of- receiving (400), at a parcel locker (10), an identifier (80) linking a personal e-card token (90) to one or more compartments of the parcel locker (10) transmitted to the parcel locker (10) by a backend system (30),- receiving (400), at a parcel locker (10), via near field communication the personal e-card token (90) stored on a mobile device with a personal digital wallet (20) for access to the one or more compartments (12),- granting (500) access to the one or more compartments (12) as a function of the personal e-card token (90) and the identifier (80).
