Abstract
A stacking system according to the present disclosure may include a stack mandrel configured to support at least a part of a folded portion of a separator so that the separator is folded between electrodes and to hold an end portion of the electrode, and a pressure applying device configured to apply pressure to an edge of the separator, wherein the edge of the separator includes an overlapping edge region that overlaps the stack mandrel and a non-overlapping edge region that does not overlap the stack mandrel, and wherein the pressure applying device is configured to apply pressure to the non-overlapping edge region.
