Abstract

The battery cell may include: a first electrode assembly including a first terminal tab protruding in a first direction; a second electrode assembly which is adjacent to the first electrode assembly in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and includes a second terminal tab protruding in the first direction; a case defining a receiving space that receives the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly, and including an opening that is in communication with the receiving space and is opened in a third direction perpendicular to each of the first direction and the second direction; and a cap assembly covering at least a portion of the opening.
