Abstract

A battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells; and a case accommodating the plurality of battery cells, wherein the case includes: a lower plate supporting lower portions of the plurality of battery cells; a side plate defining an accommodating space for the plurality of battery cells together with the lower plate; and a partition wall between the side plate and the plurality of battery cells, the partition wall being spaced apart from the side plate.
