Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a battery assembly. The battery assembly comprises a plurality of battery cells, a barrier, and a housing case configured to accommodate the plurality of cells and at least one first barrier and at least one second barrier. The first and second barrier may each comprise an exterior comprising an endothermic material, and the endothermic material may comprise a hydrogel comprising a polymer and water.
