Abstract

Suppose a position of the rotor (31) in a circumferential direction where magnetic flux generated by a magnet (33) reaches its maximum is a first position (PI), and an imaginary straight line passing the first position (P1) and a rotation axis (O) is a magnetic pole centerline (CL), at least a portion of the magnet (33) or a rotor core (32) is asymmetrical with respect to the magnetic pole centerline (CL) as viewed from an axial direction. A position of the rotor (31) in the circumferential direction where magnetic resistance reaches its maximum, which is a second position (P2), is shifted backward from the first position (P1) in a rotation direction of the rotor (31).
