Abstract

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, an apparatus, a storage medium and a program product for reduced-voltage starting of a motor. The method includes: determining (510) a line voltage between a first phase and a second phase in a line in response to obtaining a starting instruction indicating starting of the motor; determining(520) a zero-crossing point of the line voltage; starting(530) a first timing in response to reaching the zero-crossing point of the line voltage; closing(540) a first switch of the first phase and a second switch of the second phase in response to the first timing satisfying a first predetermined duration; starting(550) a second timing in response to the first switch and the second switch being closed; and closing(560) a third switch of a third phase relative to the first phase and the second phase in the line in response to the second timing satisfying a second predetermined duration.
