Abstract

Methods, systems, and devices for configuring the user device, in particular for communication via mobile telecommunication networks, the method comprising the steps of providing a secure element of the user device, such as an eUICC, with a secure storage location configured to securely store at least one user profile dataset associated to a user and adapted to identify the respective user to allow participation in the mobile telecommunication networks; and installing a remote management dataset in the secure storage location, configured for remotely managing at least one operation of the secure element via the mobile telecommunication networks; wherein the remote management dataset includes at least two data management entities configured to manage the at least one user profile dataset, and wherein different hierarchy levels are being assigned to the at least two data management entities.
