Abstract
The invention is directed to a housing section (100) of a housing assembly (200) for housing a printed circuit board based electrical circuit (202), which comprises a support structure (108) configured for receiving an elastic element (110) to be placed between the support structure (108) and the printed circuit board based electrical circuit (202). The support structure comprises, a distal end section (112) in a first direction (z), a plurality of protruding sections (114) that extend in a perpendicular second direction (x), wherein pairs of neighboring protruding sections (114) are linked in a perpendicular third direction (y) by a corresponding linking section (116) having a shorter extension in the third direction (x) than the protruding sections (114) and forming grooves (118) in the support structure (108) that extend in the first direction (z) from the distal end section (112).
