Abstract

System for handling plants and/or plant pots, comprising a tray and an insert, wherein the tray is made of plastic and comprises a bottom and two opposite first side walls and two opposite second side walls, first and second side walls meeting at four corners of the tray and defining an upper rim extending along edges of the side walls opposite the bottom wall, wherein the upper rim is provided with at least two first connecting provisions and the insert is provided with at least two second connecting provisions, wherein each first connecting provision is designed for cooperation with one of the second connecting provisions, such that cooperating first and second coupling provisions are prevented from becoming uncoupled by pulling at the insert in a direction parallel to a main plane of the bottom wall, inward to the tray.
