Abstract

The present invention relates to a sports footwear (10) comprising an outer shell (14) and a cuff (12) wherein the latter is at least partially formed by a pair of flaps (38, 40) and/or by at least a cuff portion (30, 32), a first traction element (42), a second traction element (44), and a lever tightening device (46). The lever tightening device (46) comprises a fixing base (52) to which there is articulated an actuation assembly (54) movable between a tensioning position and a releasing position, wherein the fixing base (52) is fixed to the cuff (12), and the actuation assembly (54) comprises a first lever arm (58) rotatably connected to the fixing base (52) and a second lever arm (60) rotatably connected to the first lever arm (58). The first traction element (42) is associated with a part of one of said lever arms and the second traction element (44) is associated with a part of the other of said lever arms. Specifically, the sports footwear (10) comprises a pair of outer shell flaps (38, 40) at least partially defining the outer shell (14), and the second traction element (44) is configured to operatively tighten said outer shell flaps (38, 40) to each other and it is also arranged at least partially outwardly to an outer surface (14s) of the outer shell (14).
