Abstract

The invention provides the medical device which is intended for use in the physical rehabilitation in the case of temporomandibular disorders that limit normal and pain-free mouth opening, impaired chewing associated with dysfunction of the masticatory muscles, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and related musculoskeletal structures. The medical device functions by simulating the natural movements of the temporomandibular joint through controlled pneumatic inflation. The device is designed to provide gentle, safe and precisely controlled movement of the TMJ and mandible. The medical device is a pneumatically adjustable rehabilitation device for temporomandibular disorder treatment, leveraging advanced bioengineering and 3D printing technology.
