Abstract

Washable, reusable underwear comprising a gusset component (10) comprising an outer knitted layer (1) on which a barrier layer (2) is placed, on which an absorption layer (3) is placed, on which a transport layer (4) is placed. The absorption layer (3) comprises a knitted fabric comprising a viscose yarn in an amount of at least 60 wt. %, preferably at least 70 wt. %, wherein a plurality of at least two, preferably at least three distribution regions (12) are knitted in the absorption layer (3), which extend in the longitudinal direction of the gusset component (10) and comprise a polypropylene yarn.
