Abstract

The present invention comprises a transducer protector for an extracorporeal circuit, comprising: a main body comprising a fluid path; a first connector for fluidly coupling a first end of the fluid path to a pipe of the extracorporeal circuit; a second connector for fluidly coupling a second end of the fluid path to a pressure transducer interface; and a hydrophobic membrane arranged in the fluid path for separating the first end of the fluid path from the second end; wherein the second connector is a bayonet connector.
