Abstract

Disclosed are a spacer, a slot die, and a method of coating an electrode plate using a slot die. The spacer is configured to be interposed between the upper die and lower die of a slot die and configured to form a gap between the upper die and the lower die. The spacer may include a spacer body part configured to be coupled to the upper die and the lower die and a plurality of insulating liquid discharge parts provided on one side of the spacer body part and configured to discharge an insulating liquid. When an electrode plate is coated through the slot die, slurry may be discharged through an area of the spacer body part other than the insulating liquid discharge parts and the insulating liquid may be discharged through the insulating liquid discharge parts so that the insulating liquid is coated adjacent to ends of the discharged slurry.
